Hi All! I sold my eternity band a year ago and I miss my stack. It was platinum.

Second ring from top. My mom has added to my stack over the years after my marriage ended. She knew how bare I felt no longer wearing wedding rings.

Now that I am engaged I don’t wear this stack anymore but I miss it. I use to get compliments all the time plus the sentimental value with my mom gifting me rings from her collection.

This ring below I tried on with my ER while in Puerto Rico earlier this year before the world shut down. I fell in love with the floating diamond look.
Here is that ring from my trip to PR:

Now onto my question: Blue Nile is having a sale and the floating diamond is on sale along with the petite pave ring. I can’t decide which one. I like both a lot! Which one? 1 or 2?!? A1CCBD94-3370-42DA-8525-1118499CFF72.jpeg B0CBBF76-23F1-4061-B514-FE44CC47E231.jpeg

I prefer the pave as an everyday ring, whereas the floating diamond band seems more like an occasional ring.
I believe some posters have had wear or losses of diamonds from their floating set.

Before I read your post, I was going to say the second one from the top. Lol. Now, after I read it, I vote for the floating band.

Really? Bummer. I wouldn’t want to deal with the hassle of diamonds falling out. I like it a lot too. :(

Tough decision. Is possible to get both. More stacking option. If I have to pick one I would pick the paved one for a more classic look.

The one you’re modeling looks best, but I see it’s SI-2 diamonds. Contact ID jewelry in NYC to make you a better one.

Floating band, you already have one like #2.

BN floating is pretty but can be itchy depending on the carat weight. I have a BN floating band but find it a little itchy. It is not too bad unless you are sensitive. Smaller floating bands are not itchy.

I have that BN petite pave ring -- it's my anniversary band (.10 ctw). Here's a picture of it with my small (.41) solitaire -- in case it's helpful!

Sure! I purchased the 3/4 carat band that is a half eternity. I love it on its own or stacking!
