Hi,

I've been reading this forum daily for months now. I've been to countless B&M and searched countless online retailers. I have two stones that Wink Jones sent to me for review. I'm really stuck as to which one I prefer.

Here are the candidates:

1)
Shape - RB
Weight - .78ct
Color - H
Clarity – VVS1
Cut Grade – 0 - Ideal
Measurements – 5.95 – 5.97 x 3.64mm
Fluorescence - negligible
Table Size – 56.0%
Total Depth – 61.0%
Pavilion Angle – 40.9%
Crown Angle – 34.5%

2)
Shape - RB
Weight - .74ct
Color - F
Clarity – VS1
Cut Grade – 0 - Ideal
Measurements – 5.82 – 5.85 x 3.59mm
Fluorescence – Strong Blue
Table Size – 55.7%
Total Depth – 61.5%
Pavilion Angle – 40.8%
Crown Angle – 34.2%
Video - http://www.vidmails.com/playback.php?pl=NDljMTc4NzkxOGVjMjFhZmY2MzhkNTczNDkyNGQyMzYzYTdkMW&crmid=1

Two of them side by side - http://www.vidmails.com/playback.php?pl=ZTY2NzA3NmNjNDBhMTlkYWNkNjlmZmEzOTE2YjU5NzY2YzZkMz&crmid=1

I'm really torn between the two of them. I can see little (probably none = all in my head) difference between the H and F color.

Irrespective of cost (H is slightly cheaper), which one do people prefer?

Thank you so much in advance for your time and effort!!!

Based on my preference, I voted for the .78 H VVS1. Both stones are GORGEOUS on the video, but my eyes are drawn to the warmth and richness of the H stone. But I love warmer and colored diamonds in general. The H also appears to face up just a teeny bit larger than the F. It also has better clarity with VVS1. All of this, PLUS the slightly cheaper price.

But it''s your preference that matters. You are fortunate to be able to let your eyes judges for themselves.

Which stone are you visually drawn to?

Of those two, I like the H color as well. I can''t really put my finger on what I like about it specifically, I just like it...

I''m not sure which I prefer. My head tells me the H.

I think I may be over analyzing this!!! From my conversations with Wink I think he''s leaning towards the H (Nice change of pace from the typical salesperson in a B&M!!)

Cut = Both AGS0 = Tie
Color = F = .74 Winner
Clarity = H = .78 Winner

.74 HCA
Light return = Excellent
Fire = Excellent
Scintillation = Excellent
Spread = Very Good
Overall TIC = 1

.78 HCA
Light return = Excellent
Fire = Excellent
Scintillation = Very Good
Spread = Very Good
Overall TIC = 1.5

The reason why it''s hard to pick is because they are both gorgeous stones!!

Since you can''t decide, as they both sound gorgeous (I can''t see them), I would rely on Wink''s expertise!
