I actually didn't change anything - I always knew what I wantd and didn't change that. The difference is that what Leon ususally makes is aligned with what I want - really delicate, thin shank, great curves, diamond set as low as possible. It was very easy for him to execute what I wanted because that is what he does. With Maytal, it took some time before she learnt that I want what I want and I am really picky - she is used to building rings that aren't super duper dainty. She would have no problems with 2.0 mm but I wanted 1.5 mm in which the splits are less than 1mm - she just doesn't make rings that dainty. I am also very picky with curves and having the metal curve to the lines of the diamond and hands. Many jewellers just can't do it .. they do straight lines well though.
