Which IDJ wedding band setting do you like better?

I am thinking of getting a 7 stone ring (7 pointers each - 0.49 ctw) for my right hand ring finger (size 4.5 so it should give me full finger coverage). I want something I can occasionally pair with my e-ring (if I'm looking to bling it up) or even wear it in place of my wedding set at times. I really love the shared prong look, but I didn't get one as my wedding band because I was afraid of it eating up the prongs on my solitaire. So, which setting do you like better between these two:

TIA for any opinions!

I like the 2nd one because it looks like it will be more low-profile and that's my preference. Either one will be great!

Thanks, nfowife! I appreciate the feedback very much.
I just realized it would be easier to see the pictures in the post instead of having to go to the website:

the second, I love the lower, sleeker profile!

Ok, 2 for #2 so far!

Btw, does IDJ give a discount to PSers?

I'm not sure, I was just emailing them about a couple of full eternities for myself and the prices I got were equal to or more than the ones on the website, I believe these are updating soon. I'm still not all that clear on the pricing but I think you just go off the ones on the website.

And I love #2!! :lickout:

I like the second one as well.

Number 2!

Ok, #2 it is! Now if I could only get IDJ to respond to my emails. I read another post about someone having a hard time getting a response from them. I wonder what's going on?? Anyway, thanks everyone for your opinions!

They are both pretty bands but the first one says total carat weight of .49 and the second .15. The stones are going to be much, much smaller than the pictures suggest - just something to bear in mind.

Whichever one I decide on, I will have them make it with 7 point stones. I was just trying to decide on style. :)

I just noticed that as well, the stones on the second options are going to be about 1/3 the size.... keep that in mind.

in that case, my vote is for #2 hands down- it looks more streamline and sleek!

I'm having the same problem and have asked direct questions about pricing and gotten roundabout answers in response... very odd, as they're usually really attentive.

I like both... I would just recommend checking your stones once you get your band. I got an 11 x 0.07 band from them and this is the second time in 6 months of wear that two stones are very loose. :(sad

I also emailed them on Sunday and haven't had a response yet...

I like the first one. I love the basket set profile on eternity bands!

Here is a 7 dia wedding ring with 1/2 ct total in it of the design you and everyone else seems to prefer. Note that the end prongs are solid instead of separate wires. This would increase the durability of the ring as those 4 end prongs always wear first.

Thanks, Oldminer, for the photo and for pointing that out! I wondered why some bands were like that and some were not. Well, I've been waiting three days now to hear back from IDJ with a quote so this may not be happening at all! I'm losing my motivation to buy the longer it takes to hear back. :(
