Both are beautiful! Can you give us a bit more info - is this intended as an engagement ring, a special occasion ring, something else? Why choose a yellow band? Perhaps more context will help.
Thanks Diamond Hawk . Looking to restyle my solitaire engagement ring for a big birthday. All my Jewellery is gold hence want to keep a gold band. I'm thinking of custom made and the styles above were shown to me . I would be using my own diamond . Also planning on a slimmed down wedding band , diamond half way Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.
I like them both but would go with a plain split shank. I would split the shank a little wider so you
can actually see it a little more.
Who is doing the work? You need to make sure they can do this type of pave. I would call
David Klass and get an estimate. He could do a great job of it.
Thanks tyty3333. I'm based in Europe. I see that David is based in California . Thanks again. This will be a big change from my existing set but I'm looking for a change. I'm veering towards no 2. No diamonds on the side but half diamond wedding band. I'm hoping this will gave the wow factor to the centre stone
Since you are custom making this, maybe you want the halo not to be as flat as that. To me it takes away from you center stone. It's not as obvious with a colored stone in the center but with a diamond it will be more obvious. Or maybe you specifically like that look, in which case please ignore me.
Check out the halos that Victor Canera makes and see how the melee are positioned and angled with respect to the center. I am not suggesting that he make it for you since you are in Europe. And he is quite expensive as his work is all hand forged. I'm just saying you may want to consider the style of his halos.
