I have been looking on these three stones. I find good things about all of them, for example the G color of the 1.85ct or the slightly larger size of the H stones. Any input would be highly appreciated!

i like the 1.85ct G VS2 H&A stone...

Dancing fire: I also like the 1.85 but I'm rather scared to purchase it without being able to see it IRL. Will there be a noticeable difference between a 1.85 or 2 carat round ideal cut diamond? I would hate to see DSS set in just because I did not get a 2 carat.

The size difference will not be that much - certainly not enough to make you think you missed out on something much larger because you didn't get the 2 carat size stone.

However, there are mind issues with stones so if having a 2 carat size stone is important to you, keep looking! GOG also has this stone that breaks the 2 carat mark and is very well cut: http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/8175/

A ~0.2 mm difference at around 2 ct is not big enough to be memorable in my experience, especially once the stones are set and viewed on their own.

Missgotrocks: The 2 carat G VS2 looks very tempting but the price is a little bit steep for me at the moment. Thanks for the link! Wish I could get it though without thinking too much about the cost :twirl:

Thbmok: I might put the 1.85 ct in a round halo or simple six prong setting. Just need to convince myself I will be satisfied with the smaller diamond. Good to hear 0.2 mm is not that noticeable.

If you are concerned about size just go with the halo.
