Which Cushion would you choose?

Hello everyone!
I registered recently and let me just say that this forum has such a wealth of knowledge and everyone is so helpful.

I'm deciding between two cushions from JA

Option 1:
1.13 H VVS2

Option 2:
1.02 G VS2

So which of these two cushions do you feel is the better performer? And please explain why. What can you tell me about these two diamonds based on the video from JA and the ASETs I've provided. They are about equal in price. And finally, I'd like to stick with JA, so please do not suggest that I check out GOG

Both are underwhelming. I wouldn't buy either of them.

I wouldn't have picked either for an ASET. But I see you did that alone. And well... you didn't know what you were doing and picked poorly. If you had asked us we could have chosen for you.

I know you said you wanted to buy from JA, but you only get three ASETs there. And you've blown them on well... those duds.

So... you can either switch to a different vendor or buy without an ASET at JA (not recommended).

If you have another ASET (I see only two, so there is hope you didn't blow all three), try this one:

Or if that one isn't eyeclean, this one may be:

JA can tell you if either of them is eyeclean. Have the gemologist pull them both and tell you.

And then if you have one ASET left, pick one to ASET and hope it's a winner.

Thanks gypsy! Unfortunately, I already used up my third ASET and it turn out to be a dud. I should have turn to PS earlier.

Gypsy, I'm new here but have been lurking around the forum and noticed that you're a great source or knowledge. I was wondering what were some indicators that led you to know the OP's first two diamonds were not worth looking at the ASETs? I've watched some of the "Rhino's School of Rock" videos that talk about the crushed ice look and buying cushion cuts, but it's still very hard for me to be able to use that knowledge when I go to the jeweler's and tell which diamonds are good/bad lol.

Also, what are your thoughts on this? I'm looking for a ~1.50 ct., SI2/ I or higher..
