Hi all,

Which AVC would you choose for a pendant?

I’m a little nervous as H is the “lowest” colour I’ve had. AVC M didn’t look too tinted in other ppl’s pictures, but I’m not sure how it performs in real life in various lightings. I’m also trying to keep the budget of 3K (although I think I could easily go for a bigger AVC if I had the funds haha)

I had an L AVC and it was too tinted for me, personally. No doubt an M will have visible tint as well - creamy ivory color. But color is subjective - whether or not that tint bothers you or if you embrace it is up to you.

of the 2 options, I would choose the i color vs clarity diamond

I think for a pendant you are probably not going to notice the clarity as much. I don't mind warmth in old cuts and it faces up larger. I guess it also depends on the metal you are choosing as well. Maybe yellow gold would go nicely with M color, if not the I would be great in white gold.

I had an M color and it looked the color ginger ale so if haloed for contrast that may work but if worn as a solitaire and you are not looking for color than definitely the I color !
