Where to purchase pre-owned watches?

Hi - I have been toying with the idea of purchasing a Cartier Ballon Bleu or possibly a Rolex watch. I am open to purchasing something pre-owned, but I'm at a loss for where to find a reputable pre-owned watch shop. Any suggestions on where to look and things to keep in mind while shopping pre-owned watches? Thank you!

ETA: What kind of discount is reasonable to expect when purchasing a pre-owned watch? I'm considering the 33 or 36mm 18k yellow gold/steel version which currently retails for around $8400-8800.

Chrono24.com? I have never bought from the site but it currently has 700+ US based Ballon Bleu watches so it is good for research into prices at the very least.

Thanks for your response. I have seen the Chrono24 website, but I wasn't sure how to differentiate which sellers were reputable. Anyone know?

Long time no see!

I think Simons and Kodner both sell them preowned, if you wanted to see what they had locally.

40%- 50% off MSRP for quartz watches less discount for mechanical watches. Check Timezone.com

Hello, I have bought/sold a number of Rolex Watches on Timezone which is more or less the Styleforum of watches catering to watch lovers. They have two boards similar to Styleforum's B&S which can be great resources: They have all brands of watches for less than $5,000. :)
