Hey Guys,

I am in desperate need of a spacer to wear between my eternity and engagement ring. I definately want something super thin and it would be great if it had some detail like miligrain on it. Anyone want to post pictures of their spacer or where they got it or even just post where I can get a super pretty one. Thanks ahead of time!

This thread has a pix of a LM spacer (thicker at the base, tapering toward the edge, with milgrain on the edge):

Is this what you were thinking about?

Oooooooooo that is really, really nice. I wonder how much LM would charge to do a spacer, if he would do one at all. I was really thinking more about getting a cheapy one or one that is not too expensive since it is really just a spacer.

I had Leon make me a spacer when I had my ring made. I believe that you can see it in my avatar. Mine was $750, which I
thought was pretty pricey for a teeny tiny ring. In the end, it has been worth every penny. It is tiny and delicate and the milgrain
is so small that it can barely be seen. I will wear it every day for years and years so I consider it a worthwhile investment in
keeping my e-ring in good shape.

I have also purchased previously a 2mm platinum band from Blue Nile, for a couple hundred bucks and I have seen than you
can get a gold 1mm band or platinum band from Etsy as well for a reasonable price.

That is definitely more than I wanted to spend but you are right in that it is probably more than worth it. I love his spacer and if I cannot find anything else I will probably contact him. Thanks. Do you have any close up pics of you spacer with and without your e-ring?

The thing I like about the LM spacer is that it tapers toward the top so it appears really thin. The wider bottom would work particularly well if you have comfort fit shanks on both your ER and wedding band -- think of the wider base as "filling-in" the gap between the two.

If you want to see what I mean, take some silly putty or play dough (something that is water soluble so you can get it out again), and press it inside two stacked comfort fit rings and there will be a little indentation between them -- that's where the wider base of the spacer will go!

Of course, one does not need a designer spacer (a LM spacer would be overkill IMO) but, if you take those design principles to another custom person, they might be able to do it for less.

Good luck!

I think some other posters have gotten spacers on etsy? You may want to do a search and see what comes up?
