Where to buy stone if blue nile has the setting that I love?

Thanks for all of the great content on this site. I have learned more in the past week from the users on here than I had in 2 months of online research. I have finally determined exactly what I want, but have one minor issue...
Blue nile has the exact setting that I love.

I didn’t see anything even close that I liked on JA or some of the other sites that are largely recommended on here.
I've learned here that buying a diamond online is a much better experience with the companies that actually have the stones in house and I don't feel like the blue nile "signature ideal" is worth the premium.
What’s your advice? Should I order the setting and diamond from 2 different locations? Or trust the bn return policy?
I’m looking for a 1.20-1.40 ideal round, si1 (eye clean), I color with med to strong blue fluor and HCA > 2.0. Looking to spend less than $8k on the stone.

Feel free to comment on the specs as well, I greatly appreciate everyone's opinions and advice.

Thanks!
-Ryan

Blue Nile doesn't sell their settings separately. If you don't want a BN diamond you could have the setting custom made, or perhaps these are close enough to the setting that they may work? They don't touch the one that you found though. Maybe someone else can find something closer or help you find a BN diamond that will work for you.

Yes, the diamond will have to come from BN. And since they don't provide anything but the lab report, I'd buy BN Signature.

If you weren't wanting a stone with Fluorescence I would say just buy from Blue Nile. I'd check to see if any of the Signature Blue Nile stones have fluorescence. I don't think they do, but could be wrong.

Otherwise, BGD's Blue Line is the best source for fluorescent stones. And they can custom design a similar setting for you. I don't know what that would cost for that setting though. Still, it's worth calling and having a conversations about.

For non-Signature line:

Call and ask about this one:
http://www.bluenile.com/build-your-own-diamond-ring?builder=BYOR&forceStep=DIAMONDS_STEP&pid=LD02800413 it's a 60/60 with twining wisps. If it is eyeclean AND the fluorescence isn't having a negative effect, it could be a bargain. They can sometimes have their gemologists pull and check that stuff for you.

http://www.bluenile.com/build-your-own-diamond-ring?builder=BYOR&forceStep=DIAMONDS_STEP&pid=LD02716426 And this one too (this one will be eyeclean, you only have to as about the fluor on this one)

Thanks for the advice. I will give BG a call to discuss. I am not sold on fluorescence so I will weigh my options.
