Where to buy an amethyst ring?

My son would like to get his gf an amethyst ring. His budget is small--$250 tops--and he can't go with sterling silver because of an allergy. Any suggestions on vendors to look at? Thanks!!

Sterling silver usually does not contain nickel but not impossible and could be the cause of the reaction. You might want to find out exactly what metal she is allergic to. It could well be that she is allergic to the copper alloy used.
