SB, I was SO thrilled to find this! I must have spent and hour at that poor guy's booth trying on EVERY ring over and over, but I kept coming back to this super chunky one. I was afraid people might think it was a little ridiculous on my small hand, but then I decided I didn't really care and I bought it!

And it's funny you said that about the fall/winter!!! I only wear it then because I like it with dark red polish, and I am very seasonal with my polishes, LOL. I would never wear it out now with the light summer polish I have on. But since we're in the transition season I may move to a dark color with the next mani.

The jewelry fairy smiled on me with something that is so totally not to most other people's taste. When I was in Aspen I feel in love with this very organic chunky eternity band made out of oxidized silver and "sliced diamonds." There were two of them, one was $1,600 and the other, bulker one (which I liked more), was $2,200. Um... no... but I loved it!

When I went to a gem show there was a vendor that had TONS of them. I got a big clunky one for about $400! I will post pics from my phone. I know most people won't like this, but I love it. And even though it looks really thick and uncomfortable I don't mind it on my finger at all. One of the best parts is that it's not perfect in any way, so I don't spend time obsessing over it like I do all my other should-be-perfect pieces, LOL.

Cool! I also got one at Gale Jewellery--rose cuts but the ring and style looks kinda similar....but with 18K gold shank and basket under the diamonds...also a fairly like steal!
