My daughter negotiated ($22K out the door) via Email for an 2015 Honda LX Accord, so we drove to the dealership for her to test drive the car, but as soon as she started the car she notice that it had 135 miles on the OD.. after she returned from her test drive I said to the SA "that is a used car", so can you throw in some accessories? (approx $700 worth) which he refused to do, then I asked the SA ...do you have an identical can coming in soon ? he said yes within the next few days, but not for $22K out the door.
We then drove 10 miles up the freeway to another Honda dealership, and we told the SA if you can throw in the body side molding (approx $300) for $22k out the door just write us up. Anyway,my daughter ended up buying an identical car including the side molding with only 5 miles on the OD... . The SA did asked to see my daughter's text messages b/t her and this other dealership to confirm on the price of $22k.
At what mileage will you no longer accept delivery as a new car? IMO, a new car should have < 10 miles on the OD.
