But the wheels are turning bc the diamond is tiny and I have a bench who can do anything. So I’m debating if I should remove the inner halo and replace it with a bigger oec or if it will ruin the craftsmanship of the ring. Do you all think it’s special enough to leave as is? Or is it common enough for me to tinker with. What I love about it is the shape and engraving. And I do like it as is, but the wheels are turning.

Noooooo!
Leave it alone, don't mess with original vintage!

I love that one Nala! I vote to leave it as is, there is that wonderful milgrain there and I just wonder if you put a bigger diamond in if it wouldn't throw off the balance of the piece. Btw I adore that outside halo with that engraving.

What a great find!

It actually seems like you could put a larger diamond in there without tinkering too, too much. I bet your bench could let you know how large before he’d have to mess with that inner halo. What’s the current carat weight?
