I also enjoy the darkish pinky-red stones, ruby is my brithstone and garnet is my Fi''s. So I currently have a very nice colour purpley-red-pink garnet for my first coloured stone project..Can''t wait!

Me too!

I love really beautiful, delicate engraving. My mom has a gold band of her grandmother''s with gorgeous floral detail that I''d like to replicate one day.

Ah love this one Coats. I agree the prongs are gorgeous - kinda like MM''s hearts..but not? lol..
Either way, very pretty!

I''m a big fan of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, so in the case of the latter, enamels, natural elements, bright colors, and flowing lines, and in the case of the latter, angular, symmetrical, striking compositions. My two favorite specific elements from both would probably be the fishtail prongs (surprise!) and octagonal settings ... this ring from Three Graces on Ruby Lane has me drooling.
