Trying again on that last one. Isn''t it perfect? Is there a particular name for this prong style?

Gorgeous Loves Vintage! I adore the way the diamonds wrap over on the profile - reminds me of this one:

Yep, I believe they are ribbon or tab prongs - was never a fan before, but they are growing on me very quickly.

Where are your pics from LV?

AJ, where did you find this lovely??

ETA: not sure why the picture won''t show in the quote... i''m referring to the emerald ribbon/halo ring.

Hi chickpea, isn''t it darling?

I have to confess most of the objects of my affections are from Lang''s Antiques.

I don''t have the link handy, but it was under the Art Deco section.

Here''s another view, I can''t get past all these great lil details :

thanks, AJ - darling it is! everything on their site is stunning... i confess to having spent much time admiring their sparklies.... not sure how i missed this lovely!

I love anything bead-set with milgraining. They are just so sparkly and eye-catching! I''m also partial to cathedrals and filligree carvings.

Let me see what pics I can find...

I too love pretty much anything with milgrain lately ptrock. Thankyou for posting those pics - and I love your new quote, that my makes me lol everytime, I love family guy !

I hear you Ellen, clearly I''m very partial myself

Thank you, AJ! I love Family Guy too. I know the show gets a little morbid and offensive, but it''s one of my favorite shows. Now why is Stewie the only one with an English accent? And remember when Chris'' pimple pulled a gun on him when it didn''t want to be popped? I''ve never seen anything like that.

Miscka, I love your avatar. That is one of my favorite movies of all time. And I read the book like a thousand times when I was a teenager. Rhett is just so dreaaaamy! I remember when they got married and Rhett asked her what kind of ring she wanted. She said, "Oh do buy a breat big one, Rhett!" She had to be a PS''er in spirit.

I gotta say that I love the style of this little Orange Blossom ring I recently got. It''s very detailed, but dainty.

There are QUITE a few of them, and this one is a reproduction but god it''s gorgeous.

Lady''s A''s Peridot. (Whatever happened to her anyway?).

Whoa, thats a knock out Gypsy! Any idea where the setting is from?
I''m sorry, I don''t think I ''knew'' Lady A..
Lady Amethyst had a very ill mother, and she said she would be ''gone'' for awhile; too busy to post, etc. She''s responsible for the Royal Jewels thread and posted a lot of great photos.

This is one of my favorites from Dover; it has been sold to someone very lucky!

Ha PT! I love Chris''s evil monkey....the whole show is totally random..
Do you also like American Dad?..I did at first, but I think that ones even more offensive!

Lovely ruby 3 stone..
Oh, yum!! I love rubies and garnets; my color preference runs toward the darker red shades.
