Greetings Pricescoper''s!

First of all a huge thanks and kudos to all! The passion and enthusiasm for diamonds and diamond education here at PS is very evident!

I''ve been lurking here for a while soaking up your knowledge. I found PS while googling a B&M store and have been hooked ever since! Needless to say, I have learned a lot since that initial day - especially about the positives of online purchasing. So my BF and I are doing some research to see what is out there. The only drawback to PS is that I have found so many beautiful rings, settings, stones, etc. that I have changed my mind of what I want 3 times (and it''s very addicting) !

We are purchasing on a budget and have been looking around for stones. My question for you today is what is the major difference between the following stones besides a nearly $1000 price difference? They are both ACA H&A from Whiteflash, so I am sure they are both excellent quality stones, but on paper I cannot find a lot that separates them besides a .032 carat difference. I am by no means a pro, so I''m just seeking a little insight from you all! Also, the .658 carat stone has more reports on the WF website (AGS cert, Sarin Report, Idealscope, and ASET) versus the .626 stone (just AGS cert and Idealscope). Is there a reason the smaller stone does not have as many posted?

Thanks for all of your help!

Call whiteflash and ask why the price difference. It could be that the less expensive one isn''t eye clean... or maybe not!

The .62 stone is new, so they just haven''t put up all the other reports yet. They tend to do the ones that have requests on them first, from what I have seen. I''ve been looking in this size range and there appears to be a price jump at about .65, but I agree, it is very hard to understand a $1000 difference between these two. I''d for sure go for the less expensive one unless it is not eye clean.

There may be a pricing error. Good catch. I''ve made a note to check tomorrow when we''re back in the offices.

OliveOpal,

You were right. AGS-3680705 (0.658 F SI1 ACA) should be $2050. It''s been corrected.

Cheers
