Please don't compare this color with Colombian/Zambian Emerald colors.

These emerald are pure 100% Leaf Green color which is speciality of Panjshir Mines (afghanistan) No Oil. These Emerald sizes are rare from this Mine with such color n clarity and sizes +3 cts are rare. This piece is of 11.75 CT with very good clarity, color us awesome.

The sizes are 8.50/ 8.60/11.75 CT.

Rubies are also from Kabul,Afghanistan sizes +1.00 - 7.00 CT (Sorry these Ruby pics are taken day lights) Not heated and color is more pinkish color :)

The rubies look like they are full of silk.

I like the color of the emeralds too. They are huge.

Love the emerald color, prefer a little darker though.

Too much pink in the Ruby for me.

The rubies are too purplish. The emerald is okay, but emeralds are difficult to photograph. I realize that. Is there a lot of treatment on the emerald?

Its very hard for me to take the Emerald picture, its very deep leaf color , which is the speciality of Panjshir Mines (Afghanistan) this is 100% not treated, no oil. Rubies are also from Afghanistan, yeah they are on pinkish side.

The rubies look to me like they may well be lead glass filled - have you had them tested?

Colour is better on the emeralds than on the rubies but they are a bit too translucent IMO.

why to translucent? For me they are to opaque?

Translucency means that light will shine through a substance, opacity that light cannot pass through (presuming that we are not talking about a ridiculously thin piece of a material) - light will shine through these stones therefore they are translucent not opaque.

ah sorry, in that case my English is at fault and the stupid online dictionary only translated the shine through aspect not the milkiness. I think we mean the same sort of

The emerald looks very nice.
