I am looking at at diamond with the following specs:
Weight: .89ct
Clarity: VS2
Color: F
Table: 56% of diameter
Crown angle: 32.5
Crown height: 13.9% of diameter
Pavilion angle: 40.9
Pavillion depth: 43.0% of diameter
Total depth: 59.8% of diameter
Girdle: thin to medium faceted
Culet: none
Symetry: good
Polish: good
I this a good cut? I am concerned about the fact that the crown depth + Pavilion depth + girdle (using an average of 1%) does not add up to the total depth. I know we are dealing in averages, but there is 1.9% unaccounted for. That seems like a lot to me. Should I be concerned about the cut of this diamond? Also what would be a fair price for this diamond?
