I would probably buy three twenty point eyeclean, great cut, G color diamonds, and finally make some headway toward my 7 stone band project (indefinitely delayed).

What would you get?

I would put it toward some stones for a band I would like to do, or toward a setting for my asscher chrysoberyl.

Highly unlikely as I've never won at any lottery, but would either reset my studs into platinum or get jackets for special occasions.

Hmmmmmm ... I think I would be terribly tempted to get a pair of little AVRs for baby bezel studs. Understated, classic, extravagant.

Highly unlikely that I would win. The time difference is against me... But that doesn't mean I don't have hopes!

All I really want right now is a 1ct pear set in a bezel. I like DBL's best and 1ct pear + bezel + getting it to South Africa will be around $4000. This would most likely be my push present, so DH had better start saving!

I'd put it toward an AVR 5 stone ring if my husband would indulge me. Otherwise, some AVR studs.

I've been wanting to get some small baby bezel stud earrings, set with super-ideal diamonds in about the .45 - .50 ctw range. $1,000 would get me very close! :naughty:

Towards either a Crafted by Infinity stone for one earring (I have an old transitional that looks more like a modern cut stone from a now dead relative I am been wanting to do something with and it would make a great earring) or towards two small AVRs or AVS to go in a band.

I would put it towards the OEC antique dangle earrings I never purchased due to the need to buy something else. In fact I have my eye on the exact pair I would buy! And rest assured they are PS and drool worthy to be sure. :love:

I love these threads. I realize that I'm probably not going to win, but these are fun! :D

As for me, it depends on how much I have in my savings because I REALLY want a bezel tennis bracelet, but that would be twice the amount. If that were not an option...hmmm......it would be tempting to get a smaller bezel set and upgrade later. I may look into the AVRs that everyone talks about... :D

I think I'm wishing for a 2.5 ct. eternity for my RHR now that I'm selling the EC.... but I do miss my 5 stone.. so it might be a toss up about which bucket to save in... :naughty:

I'd probably go for some ID Jewelry earring jackets...my tiny studs could use a boost for special events. :appl:

Ohhhhh love "what if..." threads.

-I think I would do a DBTY bracelet in rose gold (like Mayk's old one!) but with tiny diamonds as I tend to be a klutz and my larger one used to cut into my wrist. Or just get a pretty OEC someplace and have Grace put it in a cuff....yes actually that is definitely what I would do.

But.....I won't win :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: :bigsmile:

I'd probably give it to my girlfriend who is going through some tough times with her divorce right now (having her over for Thanksgiving as well).

But if the rules said that I had to use it, then probably towards a Richard Homer Concave Faceted gem (he recut my sapphire for me).
Of course, I don't know if Wink still sells these or not.

Normally there are a bunch of things I want to get. I still want to get a really nice round sapphire some day.
but right now
I totally know what I would get, a stacking ring to go with engagement ring/wedding band.

I was eventually thinking down the road, I would reset my stone with side stones.
Instead If I got this (or the 7 (.35) stone version) I could wear my engagement ring alone, or with the stacking ring for when I want that something "more", or if I wanted to be low key just wear the 5 stone ring alone with my wedding band. I like the idea of having options.

I would do a milgrain bezel from BG for my solitaire necklace. Right now it's in a 6 prong Stuller setting and it flips all the time... :wall:

Ohhhhhh the bar bracelets from BN!!!!!!! Those might also be on my list. They are sooo sweet and I love how they look stacked.
