Quick Question...
My engagement ring was an emerald cut pink tourmaline set in a basket setting. I felt very comfortable moving around normally without any fear of damage. However, before we got married, my husband bought me a beautiful emerald cut diamond ring set in a "Tiffany" solitaire setting and now I am terrified to scratch, crack, or otherwise damage it. I think it is because there is so much of the diamond exposed in the 4-prong setting. I know diamonds are tough, but I get nervous every time it touches anything. It is an IF and I don't want anything to happen to it - especially before it gets appraised!
So...are my concerns silly or am i right to be extra careful??
Thank you,
Nature Baby
