Hi everyone!! I have a pendant that has about 10 single cut diamonds in it which surrounded a .18 stone set in a pear shape locket. I took the .18 our to use in a ring but am left wondering what to do with the single cuts. My jeweler said they aren’t worth anything and to just scrap them with the gold they are in, but there’s something about them. They really sparkle so nicely. They have old world charm. Any ideas what I could do with them?

Thank you!!

I like the bar pendant idea. Or you could alternate with some colored stones for an eternity band.

Do anything but scrap them - most people pay more to have single cuts in a ring! They’d make a great delicate band - one of my absolute favourite bands is 7 single cuts beat set. It goes with literally everything

(Half-)Eternity with/without other stones gets my vote :))

Thanks! Do you mean bezel or bead set? Thanks for your advice!!!

About how big are these single cuts - in diameter?

Ditto to what PPs said. Do NOT scrap them! If you weren't very excited about them, then maybe scrap them. But since you seem to like them so much, I would definitely hold onto them for a bit. I think jewelers tend to automatically jump to scrapping stones because they feel the cost and effort of mounting them into another setting isn't "worth it."

Oh, and I also vote for turning them into an eternity/half-eternity band!
