Scream at them, ''NO DIAMOND FOH YOO!''?

Or colored stones or whataever.

As usual, I agree with Deco...my list of annoying/problem/couldn''t care less about ''em posters is probably different from yours. Different strokes for different folks, so just read what you wanna read or run the risk of getting into a heated debate.

I''ve had my share of many on PS over the years. But I never hold a grudge and can honestly say I don''t really have a problem with anyone, which is nice. Obviously I can''t claim the reverse!
OMG, I just imagined TGal doing an imitation of Margeret Cho.

.........that 2nd preg. was a beyotch.
Hoping all is well w/ u.

Italia you are so eloquent...couldn''t have ever said it better.

I thought it in way bad form to call someone an "old woman" (even though I am old

and it wasn''t directed at me but come on).

This whole thing could probably be chalked up to pregnancy whoremones

Guess I haven''t been on here long enough (as skin begins to toughen slightly more)

Another funny thing I''ve noticed is that because the internet can be tough to communicate on (vocal inflections etc) some of the people that used to annoy me I now feel a bit fond toward just cause I''ve been seeing them around for a long time... and when that happens their tone kinda changes and you listen with different ears. Not saying this has anything to do with whatever people/situation you''re talking about... just what came to my own mind lol

I don''t think I have a very thick skin. It can be a problem lol

Just read that cat fight.......................

There are definitely posters who are more straight to the point than others. I find that kind of straight talk difficult to read at times. I am lucky that the only straight talk aimed at me has been relevent and sometimes necessary. I took it and thought on it.

I just wanted to chime in and say, that overall I''ve been pretty impressed at the self-governing aspects of PS. It seems like when posters truly step over a line, there is a gang to put them in their place.

Despite my age and experience, I really don''t have a thick skin (it''s not in my nature), so I try to avoid the posters who have an edgy tone to what they write. We have to deal with that sort of thing in real life when it happens. I don''t want to be involved with that voluntarily. I try to steer clear of the controversial posts.

What do we do with problem posters? We have the mods for that. It''s their call. They''re the experts.

lisa, I quit posting for a while because I felt like another PS member kinda jumped down my throat when I posted a suggestion to someone. There are a handful of net nannies, soap box preachers, and armchair diamond experts on here that can really be snarky. It rubbed me the wrong way, but then I felt like I was making too big of a deal out of it so I took a break. But in the end it did bother me that I let a person on a forum that I don't even know get to me. After all, posting and joining in lively debates is supposed to be fun.

Yeah that happened to me too by an infamous, prolific poster.

I hadn''t really developed the hang of forum posting. Probably still haven''t.

It was unkind.

The forum thing allows one to be many things aside from oneself.

Or just a different side to the self perhaps.
