Blueberries. Don''t know why, but I hate the taste of them.
Lima beans. Ick.
Black olives. They taste like pepto bismal to me.

I just re-read my own post and realized I just described the LIKES of every co-worker of mine

...haha

I hate red velvet cake. It tastes like couch.

*dodges stones*

I guess for me it''d be chocolate cake. I love chocolate but not in cake form...and i love brownies but only if they are fudgy...if it''s cakey, ew. no chocolate muffins, none of that.

i also don''t like mint and chocolate as a combo. thin mints make me gag.

also don''t like butterscotch or caramel much (only in candy bars). i think they smell/taste like puke for some reason.

I had some the other day and I wasn''t impressed and another time I had it, it tasted like chocolate. I am not a big cake person so maybe that is why I am not a big fan either.

the radio (save like, three sirius stations and npr)
coffee
all alcohol
reality tv (with the sole exception of so you think you can dance)

And what does "couch" taste like? No wait, lemme guess. Uh, red velvet cake?

I''ve never had either one so I wouldn''t know.

I HATE blueberries. I hate how they look, how they smell, how they feel, and especially how they taste. Charbie, you''re the first person I''ve encountered who also hates them! Everyone is always trying to tell me how wonderful they are, but they seriously make me gag. Ew. I feel sick just thinking about them right now! I''m not a fan of blackberries either, so any mixed-berry-flavored foods are out.

Other dislikes on my (long) list:

Chicken
Turkey
Almost all alcohol
Loud concerts (I swear my ears were bleeding after AC/DC--never again!)
Popcorn and that icky popcorn smell at the movie theater
Scary or overly suspenseful movies
Violent movies
"24"
Fast-food meat
Buffets
Hiking
Camping
Campfire smell
Slow dancing
Sushi
"Emotive" music
American football
Tailgating
Purell
Chapstick with sunscreen
Running
Outdoor gear as casualwear
Coke/Pepsi/Diet Coke/Diet Pepsi
Gambling
Sports commentators
Energy drinks
Avocado
Authentic Mexican food
Spicy food

Dressing up.

I once turned down free tickets on a luxury cruise because I refuse to wear a coat and tie.

This is also why I hate funerals, job interviews and weddings.

Oh and TV - never watch it.

TV is the new opiate of the people.

Hawaii sounds right for you! When we were there they told us the only time you see a man in a suit is for a job interview or going for a bank loan...every other time is casual!
hehe, I had to go out there for work and meet a client and I had no CLUE how to dress since I had been there for vacation and they are very casual. Finally I brought some pretty Hawaiian dresses and just in case suite jacket. I am so glad I brought the pretty Hawaiian dresses or I would have stuck out like a sore thumb.

You are so right; I completely forgot about moment of worry on what to pack!

Isn''t red velvet cake just chocolate cake with red food coloring? I never understood why it was so special.

Somebody correct me if I''m wrong, but I''m pretty sure red velvet is just chocolate cake with red food colouring, which is probably why it didn''t taste like anything special, lol. The only real difference is that it has cream cheese frosting.

Love,

9.gif

exactly! I have no other way to explain it. I mentioned this to my brother the other day after his wife spent hours making red velvet from scratch. He agrees with me. Couch is the only way to describe the awfulness that is red velvet.

*ducks and runs for cover*

I will also add camping. I am not broke. I do not need to sleep outside. I do not need to pee outside. I do not need to cook food over an open fire.

Also, running. I will only run if I''m being chased by a large and fast man and that''s only if I don''t think I can take him. Even then, I''m only running to find a place to hide because I''m no good on endurance!

And, lastly (for now) that weird interpretive dance. Like on SYTYCD, the "breast cancer dance." Yeah, to me that could have been a dance about your puppy. You hold the puppy up in the air, the puppy leaps around, the puppy jumps into your arms. I don''t get it apparently and I think that those dances depend solely upon the name given to it. Would everyone have been excited if it WAS called "dancing puppy?"

Asparagus and New Orleans. And I would especially never eat asparagus in New Orleans.

I just saw this, and it CRACKED ME UP. I love asparagus and I look forward to visiting NO like some people look forward to Mecca, but ... well played, sir. WELL PLAYED.

That made me laugh! I love red velvet cake- but it''s because I love the icing. I''m actually not big on cake- I don''t like most cakes. Give me pie any day of the week! I have raspberry pie as my birthday cake every year because I like it so much more.

Diamonds.

harry potter

I don''t like most fruit. But I love strawberries.
Orange juice - and the smell of oranges. Makes me physically ill.
Hate whipped cream.
And I hate coffee.

haha this is the funniest question. i am like...what do most people love that i don't? not much really.
but then i see everyone's lists and i am like yes that, yes that, yes that.

my biggest one is black licorice. UGH..gross.

and yeah red velvet cake is not among my favorite desserts, people just like the red novelty of it. red velvet cake is just a vanilla cake (it's not supposed to be a chocolate cake, that means you put too much cocoa). BUT, put enough cocoa in it and it DOES taste good but then it's really just cocoa cake that's red...hehee.

dressing up.
9.gif

bad mexican food (aka el toritos)..gross.
hawaiian shirts.
buffets in vegas. yak.
cheap pizza.
arbys.

oh, i think of this every time i see SYTYCD. contemporary dance. I can do all that! well except for the crazy up in the air splits thing. but yeah everything else. sure.

anything diet.
14.gif

Camping. I''ve never been camping in a tent but I have stayed in a very rustic cabin the woods for a week once. Roughing it is not for me. Not that I''m looking for five star amenities wherever I go but I''m not much of a wilderness fan.

I really don''t think that "most people" like black licorice, either!!

All stolen from other people, but true for me:

American Idol
Live music
Miracle Whip

Vegemite.

I keep coming back to this thread today, it''s really entertaining!

And I keep agreeing with everybody--live music, blueberries, coffee, Harry Potter, diet soda...agreed.

I also disliked the Twilight series...or at least what I read of the Twilight series.

I have the opposite reaction to camping, though. I actually love camping and resorts give me the heeby jeebies. Bed and Breakfasts are as formal as I get.

Finally! You are the only person I''ve met who agrees with me.

That''s how I felt about lima beans, lol! Would have listed them, except I only know three people that like them. (And I loooove black licorice!)

I dislike Twilight as a teenage series, but it''s fine as a trashy romance series.
