Ok, so I''m looking at Pearlmans website just now, and decide to look at closeout section...and...
THERE IS MY RING!!! THERE ARE 3 OF MY RINGS!!!

and in closeout of all places! I am So excited, I''ve found my ideal design, and may get it at a bargain price

These are 3 or 4 settings that I would buy in a HEARTBEAT, they are pretty much exactly what I have been looking for (I''ve attached pics of fave ones that were in the closeout).
But one problem...no price, designer or any other info is listed for each one, just a style nbr.
Ok, no worries, so I email (quickly) Jason, my rep I''ve been dealing with at Pearlmans, and just for good measure, also email general info - I want the price of these babies soon right!!??

Now, the bad news..I keep browsing, look back in 2 mins at closeout. AND THE RINGS ARE ALL GONE! all two pages of deigns are just..Gone

don't fret, i noticed things coming and disappearing too, hopefully it's just a server glitch or something. glad you emailed Jason though. fingers crossed for you that you can get your dream ring

Don''t forget to search the Tacori''s at overstock.com, they cone and go too, but usually have a decent selection at all times. Prices are insane, but limited sizes ... but having a leaf spring installed is cheap.
 
Thankyou all for your replies...It is such a long and sometimes trying experience to decide and find a setting!
I thought maybe it was a mistake that they listed them in clearance, and they had to take them away! I hope not, and I too hope they will be back up soon.

Same here, they come and go on the site. The items will be there eventually. You may want to check out MrsSalvo''s thread on Rocky Talky because she is the very lucky owner of the cushion halo ring!

(These are far better quality than the Tacori''s on Overstock.)

i''m glad you found something you like, it is always exciting after searching and searching! once you have found something you love, it is hard to wait, but i believe pearlman''s is closed on saturdays and sundays. i would give them a call first thing on monday morning. good luck!

I'm pretty sure those are all daniel k, part of the batch that i got my ring from. Obviously best to chat with them. like rainy said, they aren't open on the weekend so I'd call back first thing tomorrow morning.

ETA: don't know if you're around, but i just loaded pearlmnas site and the rings are back up there for now anyway..

i''m looking at the site now and they are all there. does your computer have a cache? if so, try emptying the cache and see if the show up? otherwise, like i said before i think it''s a tech issue on their in.

Hey Mrs, I''ve just been reading your cushion thread - you are SO lucky and I am so very happy for you that you have found something you like - I haven''t been on here long, but you have always been supportive and helpful since some of my first posts - proof that good things come to good ppl!

re: the cache...Do you have a mac or a PC. if you have a mac, i can explain it, but I no nothing about PC''s to helpp you there..

try not to worry. if you can''t see them, most likely many other folks can''t either and since there is no info up, no one else can really purchase them either. also, you already have an email in to jason so try not to worry. i''m sure you will hear something first thing tomorrow. Since there are 3 that you love, i think your odds of getting at least one of them are very good

I can see them on the site now, so they are there. Because it is likely that a lot of people are going to want these Daniel K rings, my advice to you is to decide what you want and call Pearlman''s whenever you can on Monday. What size ring do you wear?

D.seeker, to answer your question, it is for a RHR which I believe if 6.5. I have decided I Absolutely have my heart set on the halo, as this was my "dream ring" to start with, but was way out of my price range.
As mentioned above, I would love to be able to phone them on monday, however I''m in Australia, and the time diff is very impractical - for example, I would have to phone at about 4am Tuesday my time to catch someone there at 9am on Monday! (too crazy)

I have put in an email to Jason expressing my desire for the halo - I know I probably have alot of competition - I don''t know what else I can do!
Who would''ve known a lump of metal with rock in it could cause so much angst!

He said it will take a couple of weeks to get everything on the site including the details. But look at some of the others, as this one was requested by MrsSalvo because she has been working with Mr. Pearlman for months trying to find a ring.

Are these all complete rings with centre diamonds included aswell?
I don''t mind on taking another halo or even another solitaire with side diamonds. Thing is I am already in the process of trying to get a diamond from GOG - do you think this will present a problem if I am considering these D.K''s? Can the centre stone just be switched out? I''m looking at PoH though, so will need square or cushion shape halos, not round unfortunately.
So when you spoke with Bill, did he indicate there was more stock to be postd still? Do you think I would be best to talk to Bill directly, or can Jason help me with these just as much?

These are rings with Daniel K branded center stones already set, so you definitely would NOT switch out these stones. You''d devalue the piece if you did. And I doubt Bill would do it anyway as I am sure he prefers to sell the whole ring. Halos really need to be made to fit a particular stone in most cases (other than maybe rounds) anyway. Yes, there are more rings and other pieces that will be posted over the next couple of weeks, just no more like MrsS''s ring, unfortunately. I am sure Jason can help you, but I am not sure when they will have all the specs and pricing done. You''ll just have to decide whether you want to continue to pursue a PoH or whether you want to go with a whole DK ring. I do not know this for sure, but I imagine most of them are in a tyical sample size of around 6, so one of these might be able to be sized up a half size for you, depending on which size you pick.

Ok, I am silly. I thought they may be settings with display or CZ stones like some of the other stock. I definately don''t want to change my mind on the PoH, as Jon has been a sweetheart helping me for number of weeks now, and I adore the PoH''s.
Ok, thankyou DS for clarifying everything. Back to the drawing board, as they say!
