What specs should I be looking for?

I’m about to start collecting diamonds for a tennis bracelet and need some advice.

I’m going to be buying the stones from Blue Nile. I’m looking for ideal cut stones in G-H, but what should I be sticking to in terms of other specs? for example depth/table etc for the most ideal stones?

I’m kind of scared that the stones won’t match each other even though they’re all going to be ideal cut.

Matching stones requires the sorting process through many stones to find a good match for the number of stones you will need. The table size is very important, girdle thickness also a consideration. Color, of course, to match as if even one us off it will stick out. The sourcing of stones for a bracelet is really beyond the ability of the consumer and should be left to the jeweler to provide a piece per the customers requests.

I‘m interested to know why you’re doing it this way? Lots of vendors have lovely bracelets with ideal or superideal stones.

If you like Blue Nile then you are best to use the search tool here on Pricescope because Blue Nile give us the data to enter into HCA for most of their diamonds.
If you stay with slightly lower HCA scores you will get the best effect IMHO. But I am biased hahaha

good question! The reason is because I don’t want to pay for it in one go. I’m thinking I’ll need around 30 0.25-0.30 ct stones plus setting...

What size table do you recommend?
