What shape is this?

I think Alex Park of Parksfinegroup on Instagram had a stone like that. Check out his page for more information.

Yes, as above. I think they are pretty cool!

Thanks! They seem to be rare? I’m trying to find comps but except for the one posted on IG, I didn’t get very far.

It's going to make such a unique piece, though!
It's going to be so fun coming up with ideas.

Feel free to share some! At the moment I’m wearing it as is with a rubber sizer and it weighs 21 grams!

Agghhhhhh, Pressure!
HAhahaaa I meant watching other people come up with great ideas! Other people!
Calling creative PSr's! Calling all creative PSr's!
* what's your 'style profile', do you want to go delicate or stay more substantial? Fancy or subdued? White or yellow? Paper or plastic? Ketchup or mustard?

Lol. Just joking. It will come to me.

Oooh, these are nice.
I really like the idea of playing up octagonal target ring elements.
There is a poster with a ring that has amazing baguette elements custom cut to frame her center that would be amazing too.

*truth is I'm terrible at finding the images to explain!

@lovedogs ty! My stone measures 5.88 by 5.88 so I think it’s kind of on the small side when it comes to investing in a custom dream setting. Sigh.

Hmm true. But I feel like if you could find something to highlight the shape it would be great. Not sure if Stuller has anything in that shape or not

But, there might be some great antique/vintage that could be slightly modified/bezeled to fit.

I know not exactly the same since yours is already an octagon step cut but I remember loving this hexagon modified bezel set for @Ontheblackrock15's OMC! Simple but so glam.

Also, I bet you could modify say, like an Ivy and Rose mounting and keep it well under a thousand if you don't want to wait/hunt too long?

So. It turns out I already have an octagon setting! But. It is ideally suited for an 8.3 mm. I would have to get really creative to add layers to it? Also, would it look too much like an engagement ring?

Yaaaasss!
You could add pierced/engraved metal work to it, ooorr you could have stones cut to fit to make up the space!
No, it will look like a fancy ring.

Do you have any engraving or stone preferences? I'm sure DK or someone could work it up. The only issue with retrofits is the limit of a jeweler's skills.
