Heh, that's funny. My mental age is 18 years older than myself. I find it a little ironic since FI is 17 years older, so perhaps we really are mentally the same age :lol:

LOL, unfortunately I knew that one immediately because in my college dorm I punched more than 1 with a book. The heavier the textbook the greater the chance of killing those gross bugs!
 
hmm mine came up as 17 and I'm 61.. I actually feel 32 (except for cold morning and arthritis)... I read once that you feel the age you were the happiest - my mom - (rocking to swing music with guys OTHER than my dad ;-) in heaven) always said she felt 16... so maybe Asian's have different headset or mindset than the USAer that I am.. cute test though.

Might not be a good thing if my mental age is almost half of my real age. I get the reference of "punching a cockroach with a book". Gross but it works in a pinch when there is nothing else to use other than a book.

That's a contradiction in terms.

How else would you define one's mental age except as the score people of that age get on this test?

That's how we define IQ actually. 100 on an IQ test doesn't mean 100 points or 100%. It's the average score people your age get on IQ tests.

That's why I say it's unscientific. It's like those quizzes in Cosmo where everyone turns out to be fashion-forward.
