My annual salary is 365 days of cleaning, feeding children, dusting, hoovvering, cooking & keeping everyone healthy.
PRICELESS :appl:

Ditto!
Throw in a couple of pets and we have the same job.

Add in the responsibility of a mother and mother-in-law, and my answer is "not nearly enough."

Amen sista!

....not enough for my "WANTS"!!

Any one of you ladies "over the $250K" category available? ... :naughty:

$0.

I'm self employed. I take a cut of my profits but there's no "salary".

I'm looking forward to finishing this degree so I can upgrade myself a few categories. :naughty:

This. At least until I finish my Bachelors and we are living back in the States in a few years. By then one will be in elementary school and the other will be in pre-k, so I will be able to start working again.

LOL, I love your questions DF. Age, salary, what's next? Religion and political views? (Oh wait, too late... :cheeky: ) 8)

Just curious, are you asking for just our salary or combined household salary?

My salary is not much but it's more than it would be if I worked outside of the home and paid for daycare. I operate a licensed daycare out of my home and make enough to pay for groceries, eating out, gas, and any extras. I also get to be home with my youngest so that is a perk in itself.

Dancing Fire-

Your poll is going to be completely wrong. Many of us women do not, as we say, "work outside the home". Being a male chauvinist pig (in the 1960's/70's parlance) that is something very important and obvious that you did not take into consideration when constructing this little masterpiece. (Please note that I did not use the term "misogynistic". I think you really love women in your fashion. It's just that your fashion is old-fashioned!) ;))

Hi,

I took DF's question to mean annual income, not necessarily a salary. I also took it to mean household income; husband and wife or SO. If he meant salary, I must retract my answer, as I also don't work anymore. So DF which is it?

Just missy's since your hubby is not a member of PS.

I wonder if all of these DF polls are the bases for his conversations with the Mrs. DF.

First I typed annual income then I changed to annual salary..

I work for a charity '(not for profit' in the US?), so typically a low wage. Have to scrimp and save and squirrel away a few £s here and there or get things I have been left by granny and mum remodelled to satisfy my craving for jewels. Very special though when something new and sparkly joins the collection. Love this site, I save so much by feasting on everyone else's goodies!

I've not answered yet. I'm holding out for a bit, for two reasons.

1.) I'll be finishing my degree in one week. That may have a minor effect on my current salary, though probably not enough to make me change category.

2.) The Not For Profit agency I work for applied for a grant recently, that would open up a couple of new positions that are pretty well-paying, compared to where I am now. We'll find out in the very beginning of Sept., and I can apply shortly after that, and feel like I've got a great chance, as I've been speaking with the department for months abut it.

there are a lot of rich ladies here... :naughty:

My annual pay is pathetic. My husbands is about double that. We both combined now, make less than what he made before he left the pack to become a police officer. However-I reeeeeaaaally can't complain b/c we both love our jobs now.

I am earning a good living and proud of it! lol

After I got my MBA this year, I buckled down and did an in-depth job search and landed two offers that paid 25% and 30% more respectively than I was making before. I'm in management in the high tech industry. I ended up taking the position that pays 25% more because it fit my personal life better.

I've out earned my husband for years now and we are both good with that! :)

Anne

Mine alone? Personally I consider my salary to be quite high. Not like filthy rich  but enough that I am very very grateful for my income. I work hard for this level of money but sometimes pinch my self when I consider I am not university educated - just worked my way up to this position. :D Hubby and I earn almost exactly equal so no competition between us here.
