What is this?

This rock fell off the roof of my house I believe, it was found in the indent from where water runoff is. In Florida

This is looks like granite...or some kind of man made composite?

Sorry learning my way around the forum. My father in law thought it may be a black diamond but i was just trying to clarify. Also the meteorite idea is kinda funny. Seeing on july 29th my wife and i heard a bang on the roof a few days later after major rainstorms it fell down i went on roof and there is a dent and slide mark

It would make a pretty cobochan. I’d definitely turn any gem like thing that took the trouble to land on my roof into jewelry.

It's not black diamond if it fell off your roof. Probably granite or something
