Hi, my stone size is 1.90ct. Should I get a simple setting so that the main attention is the stone? I also prefer a higher setting.
I adore this setting from James Allen.

or a simple Classic design from Eternity Diamonds?

All suggestions and advices are welcome and deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Simple solitaire. I'm normally a fan of 4-prong, but for a large diamond I'd do 6-prong. I second the Vatche U-113.

I would also really consider Mark Morrell. He has very fluid looking designs.

Petite Torchiere with a 2 ct (Video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iVwAhwMbCQ (I actually didn't know he'd do stones that large in the petite torch)

Okay, I guess I should ask what is your budget for the setting and where you're getting the stone from. You posted to a number of sub-$500 settings that I wouldn't even consider for that lovely diamond. We've posted a number of designer options for you, which are generally $1700+. So it would help to know your setting budget, and we will try to find you a setting you can get from the same place you're getting the diamond.
