I also have the same design in earrings (I know, I went through a phase about 10 years ago - I loved the look then). Since I never really wear them, I''m thinking about having them made into pendants so I could switch them out with the citrine. Of course, then I''d be left with one earring, and what do I do with that? But at least I''d get some use out them again.

Uber cool idea! And.. I love the citrine hanging off the necklace. Cool! I wonder if you could have the other earring made into a ring somehow?

My thoughts exactly. I love the look of the gemstone flowers as pendants, and the other earrings would look so cute as matching rings.

I have a citrine pendant with a rather large bale, so I tried it with the necklace - I actually like it and think it makes the necklace hang nicely.

OK, that is super clever! I need a pendant to go with my GBTY so I can keep it hanging nicely. Mine''s got more space between them gemstones than yours does, but I LOVE this look!!!!!!!

Lovely sapphire ring, too! I''m kicking myself for not going to Intergem when it was here.

Lauren - I just looked up your GBTY. Yours is very elegant, and would look great with a pendant. I had a hard time deciding between the yellow and white gold yesterday. BTW, Intergem will be in Dallas on Oct 2-4, and in Houston on Oct 8-10. You still have time before the year''s out! I actually put the local dates in my Blackberry, that''s how dorky I am.

Okay, it''s settled then: one earring for a pendant, and I''ll talk to my jeweler about making rings. Maybe if he just sets the flower on a plain band, there will be enough room underneath the flower to wear a stacker. Oooh, I like that idea - thanks guys!!!

They are such wonderful complements to each other! It doesn''t overpower your e-ring, but doesn''t get lost either. Those sapphires such can hold their own! Simply beautiful!
