Which would you chose? And why? Honestly, they are all lovely stones and anyone would be blessed to own any of them.
 
I would choose 2 or 3 because I have always wanted to own a cushion and an emerald and these are beautiful (to my uneducated eye as I don't know how to evaluate either enough to buy without doing further PS research). The shape of 2 and 3 appeal to me and the color/clarity combo works for me as well.
 
3. I'm fascinated by step cuts lately and the proportions and cutting of this diamond vs #4 appeals to me more. Well balanced, good table and depth for what I'd like... This as the centre of a 3 stone would be my dream ring!! :lickout:
 
I would really like an emerald or a pear cut however the options you posted don't really call to me. Regardless I love all the fancy shapes.

I like #2 - the shape and patterning are beautiful.

#3 - looks like the EC I just bought from them!

#4 - looks like my #2 choice EC

#5 - Love the shape and patterning, but I'm not really a fan of the "mushy" ends of pears and ovals (but to be fair I haven't seen a lot of them IRL)
 
#4, assuming that I don't have to give up my oval or 3 stone to get it! :cheeky:
 
Of those, I would chose #3. I'm not much for modern cut stones, so ruled out the cushions, oval and pear. I like step cuts and my eyes prefer #3.
 
#3 is TDF! What's not to love about a G VS-1 Emerald cut?! :love:
 
The Oval, number 5. Beautifully elegant cut and can't go past the D colour :cheeky:
 
#2. I'd love a cushion someday and I liked this one better than #1.

I love pears as side stones for rings but this one is too big for that. I don't wear necklaces often, so I wouldn't choose to put this one in a pendant.

I love ECs but I prefer how other cuts look on me.
 
#2 is the only one that genuinely appealed to me - even then I think I'd pass on it unless it were discounted, a 'good buy' so to speak. I love step cuts, but I like a more squared ratio. :))
 
Out of this selection, the only ones that appeal to me are #5 and #3 - if I were really looking for an oval or an emerald-cut, these would be strong candidates worth checking into further.
 
#3 or #6. Ovals and cushions were my first loves. Been there and done that. I didn't develop an appreciation for pears and emeralds until the last year. Used to think they were a waste of stone and now I am infatuated.
 
3 and 6 are most visually appealing, either one would be nice! The others, not so.

I'd love the pear bezeled with pink--ooo la la!

#2 is beautiful! Love that cut!

Of course I wouldn't turn down any of them if someone handed them to me :bigsmile:

#3 for sure! 3 carat EC is just so classy and glamorous at the same time!
 
The oval! #3 is pretty but at 3 cts. I know I'd be bothered by the inclusion right in the center.
 
H CUSHION!

And I thought it was a total no brainer that I'd pick one of the emeralds ... until I saw that particular cushion. Chunky!
 
I would go for that first EC in a heartbeat! Although I have to say if my original upgrade oval looked like THAT oval I'd still have it!
 
Since rounds are not offered, cushions are my next choice. I like cushion #2. I might be wrong but there is something in/on cushion #1 that although would not be seen by the naked eye, can be seen on the video. ...that whole mind clean thing.... ECs are nice but I like sparkle. Just my opinion.
 
ECs will be my choice but the G has shoulders that are too small whilst the H's cut doesn't appeal to me.
 
That's one of the most beautiful ovals I've ever seen! If it were 3 carats that would be my
First choice else #2.
 
#3 emerald or #5 the oval. Both would look wonderful on my fingers, but if I could only choose one, it would have to be the oval! It is one of the most beautiful ovals I've ever seen.
 
#3 EC or #5 oval. They are very gorgeous to me anyway. :wavey:
 
3. I love ECs. I would love to have a big fat one someday. I haven't really been able to afford diamonds since joining PS, but got so smitten with ECs in general that I bought a little cheap one to keep me somewhat satisfied until things change, which could be soon.
 
I'd have to choose the emerald cuts out of these choices, but the tables are larger than I like. I really like antique ones with a smaller table and open culet!

My top three stones are AVR/OEC, AVC/antique cushion, and emerald cut. Those would be what I would have if I could have three diamond rings over 2 cts. :lol: Oh, and if I could have Yenny's entire oval ring, that would be up there, too!
 
I realized i didn't list my preferences.

For a ring, I think I'd probably chose the H VS cushion (#2) or the oval (#5). And (#6) the pear for a pendant.

The oval costs 20k less than the cushion. So... that would be a consideration.

I have the same issues with the EC's that Chrono does... the first one, G, has great performance but not the shape I would want. And the second one has the outline I like, but not the performance.
