Here is a picture of the diamond, and also the GIA cert.

It will be used for a ring, in a halo or even double halol

Thanks in advance!

I see Bowtie, but im not sure if that is really bad bowtie...or ok....

Urgent help :)

Thanks!

The actual color is difficult to discern because of the lighting/background. Are there more pics?

unfortunately not, I can ask for some more.

Iv Attached the GIA certificate, what do you think of the specs?

Plot diagram indicates it is the type to have a bowtie at close range
In that pic said bowtie is obscured by glare off the crown facets
That pic is useless - colour is impossible to determine, everything - stone, tweezers, background - looks vaguely yellowy green on my monitor and GIA has no notation of anything of the sort... Get some pics on a plain white background (white cloth is better than white printer paper) and on the hand (on skin)

I have asked for more pictures, hopefully I will get them tomorrow!

Its so hard to find a nice diamond especially a yellow pear :(

thanks for the suggestions rocky!

I would like to see more pix too, may I ask Zah zah what price you were quoted for that stone. Out of the two stones linked I think the second is nice if you like a stronger yellow but considerably smaller than the one you selected. I also think that in fancy colors actually a bit of a bow tie is not that big a deal and I am one who really despises bow ties but in fancy colors they cut for as much color and as high a saturation as possible. Since color is the most important factor here everything else becomes a bit less important, however, I dislike very included fancy colors, have seen a lot of yellows full of flea dirt looking black inclusions, that is very disturbing to the eye IMHO, so I would be careful there, if at all possible try to stay within the VS range or if SI make sure there are no black inclusions, there are even worse in a yellow than in colorless. Interestingly enough, I too am getting a yellow pear, similar characteristics as the one you are thinking of but fancy and not fancy light and a few points bigger. Now with fancy light also consider you may not find the color strong enough though some fancy lights can be very attractive, are you able to see the stone in person? With fancy colors I find it especially important to try to select the stones IRL but that is not always possible. Even though it is hard to tell on the pic, the stone you selected looks attractive at first glance... but we need more pix to tell more.

It's eye clean so I'm not worried about that.
Just worried about bow tie and I'm not too found of the greens tone, would like something more intense in yellow.
The stone is £1100.including VAT/TAX and the setting I'm going for is £1200.

The fact that the stone, the background and the tweezers look lime green (on my monitor) is not reassuring. I hope the dealer sends you better pictures asap.

If there is no green in the certificate then the green tone is likely only the in the pic, at least that is the way it should be, however, I would be somewhat cautious too because it is a fancy light, I would suggest you go for at least a fancy grade as color is key here. Of course if you are looking for the best yellow color you would pick a fancy vivid pure yellow, those are gorgeous but unfortunately in fancy colors you find them more often in small sizes or they command very high prices even in the yellows. If you like orange that is an option too but really it is too difficult, actually impossible, to judge color based on pix only. I select fancy colors IRL because even when I trust my soure 100% and they can select colorless for me sometimes with fancy colors it is impossible to tell whether it is the particular tone I am looking for. Bowties can be disturbing in yellows if the bow tie is near colorless and the rest of the stone is yellow, have seen that and find that to be the case more often than a dark bowtie in a yellow. The price you were quoted sounds fine but it all depends on the stone which we cannot really grade this way.
