What does D.G. mean?

I know that G.G means a GIA Graduate Gemologist but what does D.G. mean?

I don''t know. It''s on an appraisal report I''ve seen. It says the person''s name and then it says "D.G. (GIA)" right after their name.

Could mean Diamond Graduate, someone who has completed the diamonds and diamond grading portion of the GIA G.G.

I think Gary is right, although the diploma is called "Graduate Diamonds." It''s not commonly listed separately, and I''ve not seen a two-letter acronym for it before, but it is a stand-alone diploma program.
