What do you think about this setting? I have not seen anyone on here with it. Has anyone seen it in person? I am not sure if it would sit too high or not.

OHHHHHH........I haven't seen it before but I have to say that I'm loving it. I actually like my stones sitting a little high so I may not be the best judge. :D

I also really like this setting- but i think it would depend on what size diamonds you put in it. What size were you thinking about. I think it woud sit a little higher up but like the PP said I wouldn't mind that at all...simply stunning!

I was thinking 7mm for center and two 5mm stones for the sides

GORGEOUS!!! I love the little diamonds on the side.

Looks like a beautiful ring!

Oh, now I want somethign like that but with pear sides. Yummy.

thats very pretty! a great twist on a classic 3-stone. i love the diamonds in the profile too!

Thanks, I am still on the hunt for a setting for my 1.25 carat 7mm round and love reading your thoughts. I was thinking of doing a three stone with sapphire sides and found this setting. I love how the diamonds are spaced and lined up. In this picture it looks like the diamonds are set too high in the setting almost like they should be further down in the v. I do love the little diamonds on the side.

I love it! I've been toying with the idea of resetting my solitaire into a 3-stone ring at some point down the line and I'm definitely saving this one!

Gorgeous!

Very pretty...I like it. :appl:

Stunning ring! I picture it on the hand of someone taller or with a medium frame at least, probably because it is quite a substantial ring. Niiiiiice!

Okay so I did order this setting. Fedex delivered it today. It is waiting on the coffee table for me. I can't see it until after work. The waiting is torture. I can't concentrate on work at all, which would explain why I am on pricescope  Okay I am going to try and concentrate on completing my progress reports.

Cant wait to hear what you think! Looks beautiful from the stock picture...we need the real-life evaluation!

Can't wait to hear your thoughts (which hopefully come with visuals  ) it looks gorgeous in the vendor picture - such a unique execution of a common style!

I think it's gorgeous! Can't wait to see what it looks like IRL.

Yay you! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.

53 more minutes till I get to rush home and open my box. OH the anticipation! Don't you just love getting jewelry deliveries.

So pretty! I am dying to hear what you think.

pictures please!

Unfortunately while it is a nice ring, I am not as in love with it as I was the picture. I am going to return it :(sad I will keep looking.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Can you tell us about what you feel is lacking?

I am not sure I can explain it but I will try. I wanted the stones to kind of curve down a little not sit in a straight line. In the picture it looked like the stones curved down, but when I see the ring in person they all seem to line up straight and close together. I wanted them to curve so that each stone had an individual outline.

Hmm. I'm trying to understand - do you mean something like this, where all three stones are separated and basically on the same girdle plane, vs the other where they clearly angle downward and tuck under the centre?

ETA: I'm curious because my friend is looking for unique threestone settings and I sent him this pic, but if the actual product is quite different I should probably add a postscript!

Good job interpreting that Yssie. That probably sonds incredibly picky and it is a nice ring.

Ah, okay, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm sorry you didn't like it, but I'm sure your review will be helpful to other people considering the setting.

And I reckon most of us are pretty picky - what you describe is a significant difference in my book too ;))

Thats Stunning! Its a little different but yet traditional! Exactly what I love!
