Hi Guys - I'm a first time poster, so please don't flame me...just looking to get some quick feedback on the below stone. I've been searching forever now, and came across one that seems to hit all my criteria, just questioning some of the details on the hearts and diamonds image (attached). What do you think of the H&D images?

Carat: 1.30
Fluorescence: None
Color: D
Clarity: VS1 (with comments)
Cut: Excellent (GIA)
Crown Angle: 34.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.8
Cost is $13.2k.

Good stone?

Run the angles through the HCA Tool (Google it). If it scores 2 or less , ask the vendor to get you an idealscope or ASET image. The H&A image is okay, some inconsistencies in the arrow shafts and a little break in the center around 8:00. Not sure what effect it would have in real life. Hence the other images (if HCA under 2) would help determine light performance.

Thanks! The diamond is scoring a 1.4 on the HCA tool. Will ask the seller for ASET and/or IdealScope images.

Appreciate the help!

Stone is tilted in the arrow view and there are alignment issues with the camera/scope/diamond in the heart view.
They are good enough to draw a conclusion however.

Overall it has very good optical symmetry.
The hearts are a little to clefty for a purest to call it h&a.
Meaning it has a high lower girdle/halves %.
That means it has narrower arrows and a little more splintery appearance off the mains than some h&a stones.

What are table and depth %??

Thanks Karl - very insightful. There's so much to to discern from these images, it's a little daunting. I've requested the IdealScope/ASET images for the diamond, but since the seller is in India not sure when they'll arrive.

In the meantime, I found this diamond on James Allen: https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...rat-d-color-vs1-clarity-ideal-cut-sku-3634658

Very similar, but a smaller ct size. This one is marketed as a "true" Hearts and Arrows cut, comes with the H&A picture, and IdealScope image. It's listed as a VS1 (AGS 3), but I can see a few obvious pinpoints in the zoomed in image. Overall though, what do you guys think?
