How about the channel set royal crown by Vatche? Its a substantial setting (3-3.5mm) and has a lil bling down the sides.

...and here is a 'real life' picture, again courtesy of exceldiamonds.

ETA: A wedding band will definately sit flush with this setting

i like B the best.

I like D

Ooo love the Vatche setting, but I''m sure its a bit pricier than the Whiteflash ones.

I like B if you can make it an eternity band. Love 6-prong heads.

Now I prefer option E

Ditto this - the lines of the new ring are lovely!

Well I don''t know what your budget is but here is another solitaire that is substantial and elegant at the same time. I like how the step cuts compliment the round.

B or D, but I much prefer the diamond in a lower setting so.... B gets my vote,

I like D the best as well. Does A come in a single pave row?

Wow, that Leon ring is gorgeous! I wouldn''t want it to widen towards the center though.

D

I prefer ''D'' though I''m not a woman, I''ll chime in

''A'' looks like it sits too high
''B'' covers too much of the pavilion ruining the profile for me
''C'' is nice and simple but doesn''t flow as well as ''D''

B or E, but if your gf is like me who have very specific likes, it might be better to let her choose.

I''m changing my vote to "E" now. E is D with some lovely scroll work. I like that an awful lot.

This would be my first pick, E would be second.

My choice is only A!

Out of your choices, I liked both E and D about the same. To me, A- basket sits too tall and could get snagged more often. B-I''m not sure if the band would sit flush, it might, but to be on the safe side, you''d need to ask the vendor. C- I don''t think you can resize if her finger gets bigger later on after you two have children.

But I LOVE the one Kittybling suggested!! That''s my .02!

Wow, Lizzrd and I have the same taste. I love the leon that she posted. I also like the last setting with the little bit of filagree. But if she doesn''t like narrow band,
they all seem a little narrow to me.
My only dislike with the ones orignally posted is the diamonds down the side are all very small and the heads are all the same. Have you seen Brian Gavins
rings? I would look at those and perhaps have him make you one that is just a little different.

A little curve to the head maybe, slightly larger diamonds down the sides. Maybe graduated, or just have them come down a little bit farther down the band.
To me personally, that makes all the difference.

BTW, the lovely Leon that was posted can be found in the Leon thread, just search his name for the one with the most posts.

I love E!

I like B but if you want the wedding band to sit flush then I like D. I also like E and the Vatache that was
posted.

I vote for E also..

I love E! Its very elegant and more unique than the others. I would opt out of the eternity set unless you are super super positive of your girl''s ring size...eternity bands can''t be resized I don''t think. Just something to think about :)

Oh yeah...forgot to say.......Go Cubs!!!!

E gets my vote - hands down!!

Thank you all for your help. I really appreciate your opinions and your suggestions. Pricescope is so helpful.

Definitely A

I think E fits the bill for something elegant and low key with sparkles. It''s also the one I like best. The Leon Mege is gorgeous but will not allow a band to sit flush, and it''s probably significantly pricier than whiteFlash.

I like A- it''s the most unique. I feel like you see setting B-E all the time.
