What do you think of the blue?

Hello,
I have found a diamond which looks nice and in my budget, I am just concerned about the amount of blue. I am curious to any opinions.

These three are asets are of the same diamond taken from different sources: 1.61ct I IF (first two are computer generated)


Which diamond do you prefer compared to this 1.65ct I VS1?

Blue is fine for patterning and all of those are fantastic. Even though you are wasting a ton of money on clarity you do not need, the ASET shows a great stone.

I am actually surprised at the IF rating myself. The price is right on par with any other VS1/VS2 stones I have been looking for in this ct size. The top diamond is actually $500 cheaper than the bottom.

I like the top diamond the best, and if the price is good.... then you are golden.

I just want you to know that princesses are great with hiding inclusions most well selected SI1s are going to be eyeclean with a princess. So... if you want to save a bit more money, you can go down in clarity to Si1 too.

I have looked at SI1 princess diamonds as well, but every time I start looking at them, I get nervous. If I got one with an inclusion that someone might have missed, but I see it, I would be pretty sad. I kind of made up my own rule, since I am buying online and cannot see it myself, I will go VS2 or above. It is already a really good deal compared to local stores, so I set that as a minimum.


Aside from the clarity, there is nothing wrong with that much blue showing up?
The front view shows pockets of black, is that visible in person, or is that just magnified-digital-photo-thing?

NO. You are fine. Both stones are gorgeous. You WANT the blue, it' provides contrast. It's a good thing. You just want it to be in a pattern and less, compared to the red and green. And you want more red than anything else, ideally. Both of those qualify for that. Which is why they are both AGS0.
