Ok forgive me but I'm so worried and I havelurked around here for quite a while.
I recently had to have some work done to my ering... I was without it for about 2 weeks... I just got it back and I feel as though the center stone is so much smaller than I remember... The jeweler of said that they did not tamper with the it but...
How can I be sure? I'm sick to my stomach

Can you use a loupe to compare the inclusions in your diamond to those on the lab report plots?

Can you measure the diameter of the diamond with a dial calipers?
If you don't have a dial calipers and don't want to buy one, wear your ring to a place that sells them like Home Depot.
Squeeze very gently on opposite sides of the girdle with the calipers.
There are videos on youtube on how to use and read dial calipers.

Your lab report probably indicated the diameter in mm, or milimeters.
If the calipers you use is in inches convert to mm by multiplying by 25.4

In the future do the verifying AS you pick up the diamond.
Now if it turns out the diamond was switched (very unlikely) who are the police to believe switched it, you or the jeweler?

Okay I will try the calipers suggestion. I think I'm a worrywart and it's been a whole that I'm not wearing it...
At least that's all I'm hoping
