Can we talk coral? What's your favorite coral polish? Does it have a great formula?

Pantone says coral is the color of the year. I went through my collection and found 3 polishes but only OPI has a decent formula. it's my go-to pedi color and on my toes right now.

I love Coral. It looks like I have 6!
3 on the more orange side and 3 on the pink side
Honestly, the covergirl and wet and wild are my favorite formulas, I like doing thin coats and the others can get a bit gloppy, it's just a bonus that they are so cheap.

1) essie - peach daquiri
2) covergirl outlast - my papaya
3) wet and wild megalast - tropicalia
4) essie - tart deco
5)OPI - freedom of peach
6) Rimmel - reggae splash

Did it take a lot of effort to learn how to apply the strips? I received couple of boxes of SH polish strips but haven't attempted to put them on.

I love the idea of these strips! How do you remove them? And how long do they generally stay on? (Sorry if you talked about this on the video, I just watched it without sound because I'm supposed to be doing something else LOL.)

Mine are actually naked, I haven't painted them since December 29th. :oops2: Hopefully will find time this week.

So sorry I never received an alert about this post! They are 100% nail polish so you just remove them with regular nail polish remover! They generally last up to 14 days. They are amazing! Email me at [email protected] if you want a sample!

Do any of you ladies find that your nails pick up stain from strong colours despite wearing base coat?

The base coat I use is one from Essie. Can’t remember the name, but it’s a transparent greeny colour. Are there better ones out there? And also could it be due to always using a speed dry top coat? I know they penetrate right through layers & harden them.

I love my nail colours. But when I remove them, I have a day free where I apply lots of oils & moisturiser & then if i’m not going for a colour, I have to use a brightener polish or a nude to make them look ‘clean’.

Any suggestions? And also, I can only get 1-2 days out of polish before it chips, which infuriates me as i’m a bit ocd about it, so one chip means the lot comes off. Why might this be? I use base, 2 layers of colour & then Revlon speed dry top coat. My toe polish lasts until it grows away, but I am obviously hard on my hands!

@Alex T Yes, I think the speed dry top coats make it worse, like you said. But I usually don't get staining if I use 1-2 base coats and let them dry really well before color. I use all kinds of base coats, most recently a Sally Hansen strengthener or Essie ridge filler.

Thank you! I shall try 2 thin layers of base coat when I reapply, which will be soon given that I painted them yesterday (Essie Chinchilly) & tonight I already have a chipped bloody thumb!
