Light grey= China Glaze Change Your Altitude
Dark grey= A England Ascalon

I wanted to wear the darker grey as full mani but didn't want ppl to look at my nails and be like wtf so I chickened out and went for this instead.

Feeling festive with this glowy shimmer! Zoya Sarah -- applied like a dream.
I have started using Out the Door fast-dry top coat. It has solved all my bubbling issues and is so glossy! Love it.

Really? My Tawney was straight up brownish copper - no red at all. My Indulgence is very red. Hmm... I like your Tawney better than mine!

BM, how long does a regular mani last for you? Do you wait until it chips to redo it or do you do it just to chance the color?

@Dee*Jay, good polish lasts 5-6 days on my nails so I usually re-do my nails once a week. TBH, I get tired of it by the end if the week anyway. I wouldn't be able to deal with gel polish for this reason.

I change the polish every day or two days because of boredom. I get really frustrated at work and staring at my nails and thinking about what polish next to use preserves my sanity and gets me through the days. Especially because I don't wear any rings, bracelets or watches at work...the nails are the only distraction I have!

This guy's called Bees Knees Lacquer Mistress of Dread. Been staring at my nails all day long trying to just survive work.

Trying to grow claws & it ain't funny...

Your getting your nails coloured - rather than tough & sharp, is tempting!

I have to say I'm very impressed with this blue from OPI mini box I bought last week. I did my nails last Wednesday. Today is Thursday and, except for the small chip on the thumb that happened this morning his light tip wear, this polish looks great.

I have gone back to doing my nails thanks to the new products available such as the nail polish color strips and new UV/LED gel polish products.

Here is my gel polish self mani that I did in preparation of my new moody spinel ring. As you can see- I still need some practice in applying the polish. The base and top coat are Gelish from Harmony. The black polish is from ASP and the glitter parti-nail is FairyGlo brand polish.

My nails are ruined. I've been busy at work and haven't done much with them over the last couple of weeks. I tried water decals last week but I couldn't get them to stick and they were ruined. Then the first time I tried my Christmas stamps, the stamper just wouldn't lift the designs. :wall:

I spent over 2 hours on these last night and I'm not happy with them, I seem to have lost all ability to paint them neatly. I'd used gel as well so not as easy to clean up. The stamps finally worked but I have smudged them a bit. At this point I wanted to give up and book an appointment to get extensions done. :cry2:
I haven't had extensions in years. My fiancé says I don't need them, that short nails can look pretty too.
