Also no.
No, not worth buying, or no, you can’t tell anything?
My friend is really interested in it.
I personally am on the side of no, but I thought I’d ask the experts.
You can't tell anything from those pics so no, absolutely not worth buying. What is your friend trying to make that they would want to reset mystery diamonds? You're probably better off contacting a jeweler directly with what you want to make and getting quotes. In general diamonds in small sizes like that are not terribly expensive, you'll spend more on the gold and labor.
She just loves diamond hunting and if she can get decent diamonds at good prices to use in other pieces she will.
If the price was really cheap, perhaps.
Without knowing the size, colour and clarity of the diamonds no one can say whether it’s worth $1,000 or $20,000 or even be sure that the gems are in fact diamonds.
Value is determined by the size and quality of the diamonds and without that information unless you have a lot of experience and can make a reasonable “visual” assessment, you can’t determine what would be a fair and reasonable price.
Anyone who commonly goes “diamond hunting” would know to stay away from thatShe just loves diamond hunting and if she can get decent diamonds at good prices to use in other pieces she will.
