what are your favorite pizza topping/s?

I loooooooooove pepperoni, especially when its a really good kind. YUM

Usually just pepperoni....but one of the best pizzas I've ever had was white sauce + roasted garlic cloves + roasted cauliflower +thinly sliced onions. It was so so so good.

Fun thread. For me it depends on where I am getting my pizza from. If I am in New Jersey, I get a cheese pizza. Because that is ALL I NEED. If I am in Lugano or some parts of Italy, I will get cheese or Fungi Porchini (my all time favorite), or Mellanzana (eggplant).

But if the pizza needs some help and I am in CA (or rather, not NJ or NY) then:

I adore mushrooms, but some places don't know how to slice them and mushrooms can turn the pizza into a soupy mess.

I like SOME sausage (has to have fennel) and some peperoni (can't turn the pizza into an oily mess). Chicago style pizza for me is ideal with sausage, but peperoni is too much on there.

I do enjoy green onion.

I also will sometimes get bell peppers, olives, regular onion, etc.

I've had some good pizzas with olive oil instead of tomato sauce which had the odd toppings of toasted walnuts, thinly sliced pears and onions, and blue cheese.

I'm a carnivore so meat, meat and more meat.

But I do have a combo that I stumbled upon one Lent that is now in my roster of gotos: Pineapple and Hot Banana Peppers.
I love spicy sweet things.

Depends where it's from. Places like Deweys, and east coast style, I like pepperoni and lots of gooey cheese. St. Louis style with provel cheese, I will usually only order it with bacon.

Ha, I always get some kind of tomatoes! I never thought about it being a redundant topping, though. I like all the veggies. Deep dish is spinach every time. Thin crust is veggies and sometimes I'll go nuts and add pineapple. Our favorite local pizza has broccoli, spinach, artichoke hearts and Roma tomatoes. I have also been known to keep a few Totino's Triple Cheese Party Pizzas on hand. I am not above eating the frozen crap pizza of my childhood. Nor Spaghetti-O's, come to think of it.
No shame, I love the Totino's Party Pizza Supreme variety--I am not above that either.

I was watching some "favorite ..." On food network and it was about pizza Alex Guarnaschelli had one that was just potatoes and either olive oil or a white sause. It looked aaammaaazing
