this pretty has been hibernating over the winter (she gets to live in a very special place under the TV where its nice and dry and warm )

but she has come alive today in the spring sunshine of lock down

He has lots of lovely Spinels from the fabled luc yen mines in Vietnam. These Viet spinels come from marble host rocks so they are low in iron like the old Mogok mines in Burma.

inspired me to hunt down these lovely spinels. Hope to buy a nice cobalt blue one day.

They are!!!! Ethiopian apparently. But the sapphires, emeralds etc have been treated to death!!!

The black opals may have been smoked! I'm not sure but at these prices my sister didn't care.

Yes, blame me ha ha.
I keep buying them as well. Try and get one for the opening bid ie no one bids against you. The list at least 10 each week so just wait until another one (or five) takes your fancy. Also check the photos, sometimes the setting is a bit crooked or the choice and set out of other gems a bit ugh.
The Opals are natural Ethiopian and rings are sterling silver, bit light weight, the other gems are probably treated within an inch of their lives, but for the price point, who cares!
