I feel like I need to "meet" the stone in person first before I start plotting. lol I'm actually taking a look at 2 opals from Galaxy. When (if) we have a winner, you know I will share all of the deets! In the meantime, I have everyone's pretties to preoccupy me!

Big moonstone fan... I especially love the blue flash (yours is fab) and the petal pink shades. Here's a pair of butterfly wings I picked up. I'd like to set them in a rose gold ring with a diamond halo.

But then I also have these parti-sapphire wings... not sure which I want to set. Naturally the sapphire is much more durable, and the moonstone will be sort of vulnerable as carvings in a ring.

I just got this yesterday, but had to turn it around and send it back to have part of the setting lowered. But still colorful none the less!

We are still trying to figure that out. The jeweler is going to look over it and let me know once they have it back what the options are. So fingers crossed it does not require a full remake!!

Wearing my sapphires to the beach!!!! I must say I adore the giant rings but I wouldn't dare wear them to the beach.

We went to have dim sum before the beach so it was nice to have nice jewelry to wear.
