I took this yesterday, but no cell signal then. Wearing my Cecile Raley octagon ring with Cambodian zircon center and California tourmaline sides. It took forever to create this mediocre picture. I tried to show my octagon ring against the octagon hole in the roof of our octagon shaped guest house here in Buritaca, Colombia. Here in in the light of Colombia I can notice the difference between the blue and green. In the North east USA it is a more shaded blue green ombre

I have a second rosette ring planned in the future, but different colours and to be set in silver. I literally have a dozen projects I want to do with Yvonne that she has the stones for. Makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. I'm giving up vacation dollars for my pretties.

Inside it looks kind of jade like.

So after reading so many posts about all your emeralds, I was getting on the Emerald Bandwagon and drooling all over your rings and stones... I was given an emerald ring! This belonged to my MIL and since her daughter doesn’t wear too much jewelry, she recently gave it to me! I took all these pics in my car on my iPhone and love wearing it!

I love how she accessorized the jade pendant with her colorful clothes . That white knit top is the perfect background for the jade, while the scarf and overcoat create nice contrast.

3carat grey/pink/lavender Julia B spinel in a Stuller setting. I love the colors the spinel flashes because I wanted a stone that reflected the colors of the Columbia River and Washington skies. Please excuse my reddened fingers. I’m just back from kayaking 131 miles of the Columbia River and dealing with some gnarly windburn. This ring was my prize at the end of the journey.
