Cherry Tahitians with gorgeous lustre. Little guys, at 8-10mm.

Today is a Tahitian day. I bought these 13mm a while ago from a well respected local jeweler. I asked for green pearls and he sourced these. They have some spots on the back end of the studs, but one cannot see it when worn. Something simple and within my price range at the time. Now that I have seen just how amazing Tahitian colors can be, and what other sellers can source, these seem slightly underwhelming to me, but I have them and enjoy them.

I love the colour of these - they definitely don’t look underwhelming to me.

Thank you for your sweet compliment. Wen sometimes carries good quality Tahitian pearls. All you need is patience because since Covid, she doesn't seem to have new Tahitians in stock.

Where im from denim twin sets and pearls is how farmer's wives used to hit the town on sale day

The farmers would all go to the stockyards and the ladies would spend up the profits!

Got this last week. 10-14mm from Continental Pearl in downtown L.A. I love the shape and color, but it's not properly strung and knotted, I just tied the clasp to the string it came with lol. Natural east facing lighting vs yucky yellow indoor lighting with some friends.

I’m so envious that you have a skin tone that can pull off GSS. They almost always look super washed out on me unless super deep gold, almost orange. They look great on you!

Thanks! this strand has lighter lemony coloring at the circles, which masks the blending into the skin. I think a solid gold without circles would look meh on me, as I can't wear yellow diamonds or gems without a white halo around it.

Maybe its just trying to find the right shade or pairing it with the right colour metal ?
i see them in one of your beautiful long station type necklases

I think pearls look the most beautiful on Asian skin, i refuse to beleave any pearl would work aganist you

Today im wearing (for kind of the first time) my Victorian inspired pearl and tourquoise ring, my only commission so far
On reflection, alnost 4 years latter im really happy with the colour of the turquoise and the decorative gallery
It has excellent finger coverage and i love the wider width of the band
The pearls are round and their surface is perfect and they are shinny so i guess luster was the trade off
I thinl it had been a long time since the jewler had used tourquoise and i think he enjoyed making it

I haven't seen my friends in person in almost a year! I meant pearl friends, as in the other strands of pearls, not other humans haha.
