What are these white spots in the IDEALSCOPE?

Look at the 6 oclock arrow and a smaller one at 5oclock. This is what the vendor said " in the Ideal Scope image, there are a couple of white "spots" that seem to be reflections of light bouncing off of other inclusions in the stone. I took another look at the diamond, and there are not inclusions at those locations." What would you do? I wanted to print out a H&A image to give to my gf. Should I look for a new stone?

Is the stone eyeclean to your specifications?
Is knowing these reflections exist mind-clean for you?

You'll have to answer those, and that will determine whether you ought to look for a new stone - we just can't answer that for you I'm afraid!

What would I do? If it's eyeclean, it's not a big deal. I would give the diamond to my GF and let her enjoy it.

I haven't examined the diamond in person yet. Just going by what the vendor is telling me; its eye clean. But I am paying a premium for HEARTS/ARROWS. It kinda bothers me that the arrow is covered by a reflection(which I still don't really understand). Should this matter?

Is it the reflection of the inclusions that is bothering you? If so move up to a higher clarity diamond and the image won't have inclusions.

Or is it the position of the reflection being on the arrows that bothers you? Because you want to show perfect arrows to your GF?

I personally don't think it matters with this particular diamond if it's eyeclean given the inclusions on this diamond. You should wait to see it to examine it for yourself. Or you could look around some more.

I think the problem is more because I wanted to show my girlfriend the perfect hearts and arrows. Now I can't, so why should I pay the premium?

I would say that you really aren't paying the complete premium. If you want a picture of well formed arrows with no visible inclusions, then you have to pay the premium for H&A and pay the premium for VS2 clarity or higher.

hearts image looks pretty perfect to me...

the hearts and arrows image is perfect. If you want to show her a perfect image you will need to get an H&A stone with flawless clarity!
